Europe’s leading violinist from the Carnatic classical tradition, Jyotsna Srikanth is also an accomplished western classical musician who’s collaborated with acclaimed jazz, film, western classical and contemporary music artists.



Jyotsna Srikanth has a strong Indian classical base and performs more of Jazz-fusion than Indian music for the last 9 years based in London. Her recitals combine a deep understanding of traditional music with a jazz and a contemporary touch. This rare balance between tradition and modernity has helped her carve a unique niche, captivating audiences across the globe.

CURRENT PROJECTS


Exploring western harmony and Indian melody through an innovative exciting project involving London Philharmonic Orchestra, a legendary Indian composer. Jyotsna is working on a violin concerto featuring contemporary violin pieces for Western and Indian tradition.


Interlaced - a project with Chris Haigh, one of Britain’s innovative fiddle players from the world of celtic folk and jazz.  In her cosy little studio, Jyotsna is actively working with a flamenco vocalist and composing a piece for a string ensemble for a Youth Orchestra.
