The Indian classical violin, coupled with a touch of contemporary Indian music, fusion music & world music form the backbone of Fusion Dreams. The mystifying violin with the confluence of beats and the rapid cycles of rhythms define the effervescent contemporary flavour which is making waves in the music scene in UK. A new cross-cultural music churned from one of the world's great ancient traditions is presented. I am looking beyond my roots for inspiration by interacting with master musicians from other music traditions too. My music is served with a blend of virtuosity and creativity culminating in a celebration of the harmony of spirit and mind. I am exploring the world of music with modern consciousness and traditional aesthetics, connecting different genres of music to Indian music. My work is a fusion of exciting contemporary violin playing and expressions from around the globe. My performances include elegant fusion of Carnatic/ Hindustani classical with Irish folk, African music and jazz /pop/blues. I am open to musical experimentation.
