Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth is a versatile and a comprehensive violinist having good mastery across multiples styles of global music. She brings out an amalgam of Indian and western styles crisply - spontaneously embellishing it with jazz, folk and popular styles. Dr. Jyotsna Srikanth is a musical all rounder who has given various carnatic solo concerts & fusion concerts apart from accompanying diverse and popular artistes. Her violin playing has a nice blend of Bhava [emotive appeal] & technique. She has performed for quite a few prestigious organizations across the world. She started learning music from her mother, Rathna Srikantiah, a musician and musicologist of repute, from the age of three and from childhood was fascinated with the VIOLIN. She pursued advanced music studies under the learned late R. R. Keshavamurthy, the legendary seven stringed violinist.
